2018 LAS VEGAS TRAVEL & LEARN PROGRAM
This travel & learn program in Nevada features different topics and speakers every year. This year Dr. Bach Le presents a 2-day lecture and hands-on workshop on the exciting topic The Immediate Implant - Atraumatic Extraction, Immediate Implant Placement, Chairside Provisional Restoration at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Immediate implant placement and immediate provisionalization has gained popularity because it may reduce treatment time and the number of surgical interventions. A recent systematic review of the scientific evidence supports immediate implant placement as a safe procedure when certain guidelines are followed. This course will focus on all aspects of immediate implant placement and immediate provisionalization, including atraumatic extraction instrumentation and techniques, immediate implants in molar sites, management of extraction sites with labial wall defects, fabrication of an immediate chairside provisional and much more. Drs. Tom and Mashni will bridge the knowledge barriers amongst the specialties and disciplines in dentistry in terms of anesthesia, analgesia, and advanced pain management. From local anesthesia conundrums to advanced sedation and general anesthesia modalities employed by various practitioners within dentistry and allied health professions, you will gain a better understanding of contemporary techniques in patient evaluation, advanced pain and anxiety control techniques, complication avoidance and management, and effective referrals for various aspects of patient management.
